In addition to the above field, medical ethics is a set of values ​​that govern the patient-physician relationship. Paying attention to the moral and professional responsibilities of the patient, far from any judgment, and far from the gender / religious / skin color / ethnic perspective is always the first priority of a physician.
 
Medical history
The evolution and changes of medical science in the context of our time force us to look beyond the simplistic attention, explicit or implicit historical and philosophical concepts in the rich history of medicine in Iran and Islam, and while reviving historical texts, Establish new medical practices and advances to protect the heritage of the past, shine a light on the evolution of medical knowledge for present and future generations.
 
Medical philosophy
Medical philosophy includes topics in epistemology, arithmetic, logic, methodology, and metaphysics that are either created by or related to medical knowledge. Philosophers analyzed the concepts of health and disease from an ontological perspective and created a coherent scaffold to understand institutional awareness in medicine.

When it comes to the "history of medicine", the scope of the debate goes back to very ancient times and perhaps to the earliest human communities; In this way, what attracts attention more than anything else is man's tireless efforts to reduce physical, spiritual and esoteric suffering. The Philosophy and History of Medicine Research Center, realizing such a necessary and worthy need, has been working since 2008 with the efforts of the "Medical Ethics and History Research" team and with the efforts and follow-up of Dr. Abdolhassan Kazemi (member of the Academy of Medical Sciences of the Islamic Republic of Iran) and Masharalieh colleagues. The "Medical Ethics and History Research Team", especially Dr. Majid Khalili (PhD in History of Science), has started its professional and research activities and in addition to its routine activities, has provided a platform for those interested in thinking, raising awareness and thinking. .
Research Center for Philosophy and History of Medicine, based on the license 816/500 dated 04/12/2010 from the University Development Council of the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, officially started operating under the name "Research Philosophy and History of Medicine of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences" And in the two hundred and forty-fifth session of the University Development Council of the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education, dated 12/25/2014, with the license No. 3740/500 / d, with the establishment of the "Research Center for Philosophy and History of Medicine of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences" Action was taken. .
Due to the nature of this center and the nature of its structure, the activities of the "Philosophy and History Research Center of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences" are multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary and are focused on the following areas of knowledge and expertise.

Head of the Center
Dr. Abdolhassan Kazemi (PhD in Molecular Biology from the United Kingdom; Biomedical Ethics Fellowship from Shahid Beheshti University) was the first director of the Research Center for Philosophy and History of Medicine and from 1389 to 1391 organized important measures to advance the goals of the center. From 1391 to 1396, Dr. Ghaffari (internal specialist) was the director of the center. During this period, the research and educational activities of the center continued and the center was ranked in Razi Festival and won many medals for the University of Science in the field of medical philosophy of the Olympiad. Acquired Tabriz Medicine. Since 2017, the director of the center has been reinstated to Dr. Abdolhassan Kazemi.
